Our mission is to end homelessness by providing sustainable housing in Yuba and Sutter County.
The homes we build have solar panels, Xeriscape landscaping and be Energy Star certified. Habitat for Humanity Yuba/ Sutter joined the US Green Building Council in 2013, and has since built one LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified home to date.
Habitat for Humanity Yuba/ Sutter builds green because we have a moral and fiscal responsibility to our families and community to build our homes in an environmentally responsible way.
Volunteering is an extremely rewarding experience, and we have many opportunities. From clerical to construction, fill out our Volunteer Skills and Interests form to get started.
Repairs include roofing, siding, painting, landscaping, replacing doors and windows, and performing exterior repairs at minimal cost to you.
